South China Folk music

On my recent trip to Hong Kong we spent a weekend on the mainland where we visited a beautiful old chinese garden built by a general, and a 2 300-500 year old villages that were just spectacular. Think the flickr account will be renewed for these. Here is a video of a lady singing a folk song traditional to that area. I cant remember the name of the style unfortunately but I do remember that it means 'male' or 'lower' voice.
